Tank Freight Pricing Update
Last updated: August 6, 2026
As of August 1, 2026, we changed how freight is handled on tank orders. Here are some frequently asked questions:
What changed?
Freight is no longer built into tank pricing; instead, it's broken out as its own flat charge.
Individual tank orders: $49 flat freight per tank.
Palletized tank orders: $199 flat per pallet (8-tank minimum, 15-tank maximum).
Does ordering more save on freight?
Yes. Freight cost per tank dropped as pallet quantity went up.
8 tanks per pallet: about $25/tank in freight
15 tanks per pallet: about $13/tank in freight
Are there any hidden fees or accessorial charges?
No. These were flat rates. There was no case-by-case quoting.
When did this take effect?
August 1, 2026.
Did anything else change?
Yes, a few things took effect at the same time:
Builder margin on palletized orders increased.
Standard discounting on palletized orders increased to 20%.
Straps, brackets, and tank sensor ports became available.
Did quality or availability change?
No. We keep 4 to 6 weeks of inventory. Fulfillment times don't change. This update only affects freight and discount structure, not the service customers receive.
Why did this change happen?
We absorbed all recent material price increases as well as the cost of brackets, straps, and new sensor ports, while expanding discounts on palletized orders.
